  Vets are like our own doctors, they take care of our family members. This place is really geared toward comfort with rugs and sofas in the exam rooms and they are for your pets comfort! The front office staff is so friendly and very helpful. I am a long time resident and have been going to another vet. It just is too difficult to get my dog in for an appointment when he needs to be seen. If there is something important to take care of or that is wrong and affecting the livelihood of my dog, I don't want to wait a week. I have have been here twice now and each time it has been so easy to take care of what needs to be done. The vet is very friendly and knowledgeable, prices are decent for the services rendered and I am in and out with no long wait for an appointment. This is where I will be going from now on.

  Wonderful veterinary care! I came in on a Saturday afternoon because my dog was ill, and they immediately set to work figuring out what was going on. Everyone at Blue Lake was extremely compassionate and worked quickly to diagnose the problem and find the right treatment. They even have been calling to check up on him after his surgery! Dr. Szumel is great!

  I followed Dr. Powell from my old vet and he is the best Vet i have met. I have honestly been at every Vet in Tahoe and he is the one i trust and stayed with. He treats my dogs very well and is very knowledgeable
